Description

A co-presented session at BCU's Innovation Fest 2025, delivered at STEAMhouse on the Main Stage. The presentation introduced research on exploring how Digital Twin technology can be leveraged to manage indoor environmental conditions in residential settings for occupants living with asthma. The session highlighted the integration of IoT-based environmental monitoring, real-time indoor air quality data, and occupant-centred design principles to develop a responsive Digital Twin framework. The research advances understanding of how smart building technologies can directly support health outcomes and quality of life for vulnerable occupants in domestic environments.
