Co-organised the 5th annual Smart Tech & Sustainability Leaders Forum 2026 (formerly the Smart Buildings and Sustainability Leaders Forum) in partnership with industry partner ISTL, hosted by the Department of Architecture and Built Environment at Birmingham City University on 20 July 2026. This industry-led event brings together senior professionals from across the architecture and built environment sector, with plenaries on Design & Technology, Intelligent Buildings & FM Services, Digital Healthcare, Smart Hospitals & Virtual Wards, Digital Transport, and Smart Technology in Education. The 2026 edition also featured a dedicated series of talks on architecture and design delivered by prominent architects in practice. The forum provides a platform for raising the visibility of departmental enterprise and industry-led research, connecting with potential industrial partners, and supporting staff professional development. As co-organiser, also facilitated departmental colleague participation and coordinated early registration across the Department of Architecture and Built Environment.
