The Advisory Board brings together leaders from local government, investment, business, academia, and civil society to advise national policymakers and work with local government on ensuring that communities share the benefits of private sector investment and development. The Commission engages directly with government through in-depth research, regional roadshows, and collaboration with local and regional leaders to identify barriers to investment and promote best practices for community-focused development. Its work informs policy papers offering actionable recommendations for both government and the private sector, spanning areas including skills development, regeneration, housebuilding, low carbon energy, and digital connectivity across the UK.
