Presented the Key Talk at the annual 'Psychology LIVE!' event at Disneyland Paris on March 1st which was attended by ~600 psychology A-level students from different colleges in the UK. This year his talk was on "The Top 10 Movie Psychopaths" and discussed the accuracy of cinematic portrayals of psychopathy, in relation to diagnostic criteria of personality disorders and associated behaviours. The event was held one of the cinemas on the Disneyland park, and the talk built on the research by Leistedt & Minkowski (2014), but also looked at the occupations of such villains in movies and how psychopathy or other personality factors were helpful in the jobs they held. Feedback was good and students said the topic mapped onto their A level syllabus.
