Teaching Interests
As a Lecturer, Andrew specialises in Human Resource Management and Employment Law for business students and has also taught Business Law. He was called to the Bar in 2019 (Middle Temple) and has a practical interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Research and Innovation interests
Andrew’s research interests are focused on religious expression in the workplace and its legal and employment relations implications, and he completed his PhD in the Law Department at Durham University, on a part-time basis, under the supervision of Professor Ian Leigh, in 2013. His research has been quoted in national reports for the Equality and Human Rights Commission. In 2015, an article by Andrew was one of the five most highly rated by practitioners in the Chartered Management Institute’s Top Management Articles competition.
