As Head of Psychology and Counselling, my research and innovation interests focus on educational psychology, health psychology and higher education, with particular emphasis on learning environments, student belonging, engagement and wellbeing. My research explores nature-based pedagogy, psychologically informed approaches to learning and teaching, inclusion and equality, student partnership and co-creation, neurodiversity and the psychological experiences of people living with long-term health conditions. I am interested in translating psychological research into educational policy, practice and institutional enhancement.
