I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Birmingham City University, working on the UKRI-funded SMART SIP+ project, where I conduct interdisciplinary research on technology adoption, digital transformation, and responsible innovation. I hold a PhD in Technology Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where my research examined AI capability development, technology governance, and organisational readiness for AI adoption.
My research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, explainable AI (XAI), and data analytics to support secure, trustworthy, and evidence-based decision-making. I have a particular interest in privacy-preserving mechanisms, including non-IID Federated Learning setups, investigating how distributed and heterogeneous data influence model performance, robustness, fairness, and explainability. My work integrates federated optimisation, differential privacy, and explainable AI to develop resilient AI systems suitable for data-sensitive domains.
I am interested in applying advanced analytics to address challenges in customer analytical models risk assessment, fraud detections, financial risks, AI governance, and organisational resilience. My expertise includes anomaly detection, predictive modelling, customer analytics, AI governance, data governance, intelligent decision-support systems, and technology readiness assessment. My research spans multiple sectors, including finance, healthcare, telecommunications, energy, retail, and the public sector, with a focus on translating analytical methods into practical organisational and policy solutions.
I have contributed to several national and international research initiatives, including the development of India's National COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Digital Communication Strategy, where I applied natural language processing, large-scale text analytics, sentiment analysis, and behavioural intelligence to support evidence-based public policy. Alongside my research, I am passionate about education and capacity building, having trained more than 5,000 students and industry professionals in AI, machine learning, business analytics, and data-driven decision-making. My research aims to advance trustworthy AI and analytical methods that strengthen fraud prevention, governance, and organisational decision-making.
