Paul Bradshaw leads the MA in Data Journalism at Birmingham City University and works as a consulting data journalist with the BBC Shared Data Unit. He has written over 20 book chapters and research papers on online journalism, and authored a number of books in the field, including the Online Journalism Handbook, Mobile-First Journalism, Scraping for Journalists, Finding Stories in Spreadsheets, Snapchat for Journalists, and the Data Journalism Heist. He also publishes the Online Journalism Blog, which has been covering the field for two decades. The co-founder of the award-winning investigative journalism network HelpMeInvestigate.com, he has been listed on both Journalism.co.uk's list of leading innovators in media, and the US Poynter Institute's list of the 35 most influential people in social media, and has worked with news organisations including The Guardian, Der Tagesspiegel, Balkan Investigative Reporting Network and The Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
