Accepting PhD Students

PhD projects

I welcome research proposals from prospective PhD students that align with my current research interests and expertise in accounting and accountability, finance, governance, and sustainability. I am particularly interested in applicants with strong research potential, demonstrated through excellent quantitative and research writing skills.

Proposals that adopt a cross-country or regional perspective—for example, comparative analyses across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, are especially encouraged, rather than studies focusing on a single country.
