Research and Innovation interests

Lecturer in Social Work at Birmingham City University, with research interests in care-experienced young people, leaving-care transitions, child welfare, and social policy. My work focuses primarily on China and contributes to comparative and international debates on transition to adulthood, inequality, and welfare support. I use qualitative research and policy analysis to examine the lives and support pathways of care-experienced young people.
