Previously worked as Lecturer/Assistant Professor at the Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu, Estonia, and also served as Associate Professor and Chairperson for the Department of Computer Science at BUITEMS, Pakistan. Received Ph.D. from Informatics Institute, Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. Served as a Visiting Scholar at the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Estonia, University of Tokyo, Japan, and National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. Published more than 20 research papers in reputable Q1 journals with an accumulative impact factor of more than 100, a citation count of over 1575 and an h‑index of 20. Presented several research papers at internationally renowned conferences. IEEE Senior Member and Professional Member of the British Computer Society. Recommended by HEC Pakistan as approved Ph.D. supervisor. Involved as Co‑PI and Project Lead in three different funded projects. Interested research areas include big data analytics, machine learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), network security and image recognition. Enthusiastic in devising better problem‑solving methods for challenging tasks and learning new skills, tools and techniques.
