Project Details
Key findings
The programme has identified consistent evidence that nature-based learning supports psychological wellbeing, belonging, engagement and self-regulation. It has contributed to the theoretical understanding of the psychological processes underpinning learning in natural environments. It has also informed research, policy and practice in outdoor and higher education including the development of an on-site University Forest School in previous institution.
