Project Details
Layman's description
This project aims to uncover the role of European technology, policy, education and culture in the formation of the information society: by examining history we can look forward to a future which is informed by technology but not over-run by it. It is especially focussed on the 'hidden histories' of women and minority groups and foregrounding their experiences through a host of work packages explicitly seeking to understand how we got to where we are and how as European citizenry, we can prosper in a better future.
