    Prasanta Kumar Dey is a professor of Operations Management at Aston Business School, UK. Prior to joining Aston University in 2004, he worked for five years with the University of the West Indies in Barbados and 30 years in Indian Oil Corporation Limited. He has a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, a master’s in Industrial engineering and a PhD in Engineering. He specialises in low-carbon supply chain optimisation. He is the chief editor of the International Journal of Energy Sector Management. He has published more than hundred research papers in international refereed journals. He has accomplished several research projects funded by Research Council UK, and British Council. His industry clients include Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls Royce, JCB, L’Oreal, NHS, General Dynamics and Unocal.
