Abstract
A recent painting, “Untitled (Found: Eight), Recto”, from an ongoing practice-based research project exploring loneliness and social isolation will be featured in the forthcoming John Moores Painting Prize at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. The exhibition which provides a platform for artists to inspire, disrupt and challenge the British painting scene today will be on view from 6 September 2025 - 1 March 2026.
This biennial competition is the UK's most well-known contemporary painting exhibition that showcases the latest and best of British painting and is part of the Liverpool Biennial. The exhibition was juried by Louise Giovanelli, Gemma Rolls-Bentley, Michael Simpson, Zoé Whitley, and Zhang Enli who selected 71 artists from a pool of over 3,000 for inclusion in the exhibition.
