N2 - The Erasmus+ Learning and Teaching Spaces in Higher Education (LTSHE) (EU, 2019-21) project developed a set of core principles that institutions can use to help them to design new learning and teaching spaces, whether developing existing and heritage buildings or constructing new spaces. The LTSHE project brings together eight partners from across Europe and the Balkans, each with a passionate interest in the design and development of the spaces in which innovative learning and teaching takes place. Partners will review current policy and practice relating to learning and teaching space, conduct a series of site visits and explore practitioners’ and students’ experiences in order to develop the set of core principles that institutions can use to help them design, construct and develop spaces that facilitate innovative learning and teaching practice.
