Abstract
The paper investigates an optimized leakage locating model combining Genetic Algorithms and Bayesian Decision Theory in water distribution networks. Both of the leakage detection models based on model calibration and Bayesian Decision Theory are described in the paper and contribute to the establishment of the optimized model. A numerical example network was used for evaluation of the optimized model and proves its excellent detection accuracy and outstanding locating efficiency
