Abstract

This paper brings together various theoretical perspectives to examine the ethical issues involved in conducting research with children engaged in non-directive play therapy. It discusses children's rights, power relationships, trust between therapist and researcher, informed consent, confidentiality, the role of gatekeepers, and the potential impact of research on the therapeutic process.
