Abstract
This study examines the evolving migration patterns of Nigerian middle-class families in the United Kingdom, focusing on student migration and engagement in sectors like healthcare. Despite a rise in international students, challenges persist due to cultural disparities and differing educational environments. Based on Nigerian students at a prominent Northwest UK university, the research explores the multifaceted implications of studying abroad, including challenges and the role of entrepreneurship. Using the qualitative methodology, it integrates primary data from informal discussions with Nigerian students. Thematic analysis is employed to assess insights. This research aims to contribute valuable insights to the discourse on migration, education and cultural adaptation by illuminating the experiences and perspectives of Nigerian students.
