    Funding

The project was sponsored by British Waterways, with Birmingham City Council's Department of Planning and Architecture, the Birmingham Design Initiative, and was managed by the School of Planning at the University of Central England. The steering group was able to bring a wide range of expertise to the project, and this was supplemented by inputs from a housing association, English Partnerships and the Groundwork Trust.
