Wording: On language and the living world

    Research output: Book/ReportBookpeer-review

    Abstract

An essay in the relation between language - especially poetry - and the living world that language attempts to describe, evoke, or classify, and in which it participates. Interrogating familiar words and concepts, including 'nature' and the 'wild', in fresh ways, the essay combines the methods of both the poet and the critic to present a new examination of fundamental questions.
